Health Journey: IDLife

health May 17, 2023

I've taken a variety of supplements and vitamins throughout my life and dug into a ton of literature about what works and doesn't. While you might find a variety of opinions about this mineral or that vitamin what you don't see is disagreement that quality is not optional. You have to find a trusted provider who makes a quality, bio-available product or you're just flushing money down the drain (literally).

IDLife is that company for me. Very reputable, reasonably priced, and a quality product that I honestly can feel when I do and don't take it. Yeah, there may be some placebo effect in there, I'll admit, but I really do seem to feel a difference. Plus, they start you off with data. Specifically, your DNA.

After taking the DNA test and getting my first round of supplements I've more recently started to tailor things, especially since I'm also introducing other supplements (see my other posts). The other product of theirs that I've recently switched to is Hydrate. I sweat a lot (no, like seriously) so I'm always chugging down the max amount of water I can stand. Previously, I'd used Liquid IV to help me out but when I started my CGM, I noticed that I would spike. Hidden sugars are a bear! The switch meant no more spikes and I've seen an uptick in my sleep that I think is correlated to my hydration levels (more testing to come!).

DISCLAIMER: I'm not getting paid for any of this. Just sharing what I've learned and my experience.
