Work Life Balance
You can't "balance" something that's in flux; life is always changing and moving. Attempting to do this creates anxiety and a feeling of inadequacy because it's unattainable. It's not a zero-sum game. It's a false dichotomy; pick one at the expense of the other but how we spend our time IS our life. And work is a part of that life. There's almost always something good we can see in our work so strive to make that your measure of success. Without this commitment, ambiguity can show up and that creates stress as well.
Focus on an abundance mindset rather than a scarcity one. Scarcity will lock you into focusing on the wrong things. Be integrative in how you think about your life; this will help you act that way. You do what you do because of what you think about you. Plus, if you're not present when you're spending your time wherever you are, you'll create anxiety too.
