Overheard today...

If you've spent time with me, you're probably familiar with my fondness for dad-isms (courtesy of my dear old dad) and my penchant for catchy acronyms. Today, I stumbled upon a new one that really struck a chord with me:

LIE; Limiting Idea Entertained.

It got me thinking because, let's face it, we all tend to believe in lies from time to time. Lies that others have fed us about our capabilities, or the stories we concoct about ourselves, our experiences, and our desires. I wrote previously about our Dream Thieves. These lies are everywhere, and here's the kicker – you don't have to entertain them. You get to decide whether or not they limit you. Now, that's truly empowering!
